Total Credits: 25 credit hours every three years
- At least 12.5 participatory credits
- At least 4 hours of Ethics
- At least 2 hours of Competence
- At least 2 hours of Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession, including at least 1 hour of Implicit Bias
- At least 1 hour of Technology
- At least 1 hour of Civility in the Legal Profession
MCLE Deadline: March 29 of the third year of the attorney’s reporting cycle.
Participatory Credit: All Lawline courses qualify for California participatory credit.
Carryover Credit: California attorneys cannot carry over credits into the next reporting period.
Reporting: Lawline automatically reports California credits every Tuesday after attorneys claim credit. Attorneys should confirm that their bar number is correct and allow up to five business days for processing.
Compliance Reporting Deadline: March 30 immediately following the MCLE deadline.
