Total Credits: 15 credit hours per year
- At least 3 hours in Ethics or Professional Responsibility
- At least 12 hours through accredited CLE activities
- Up to 3 hours through self-study
CLE Deadline: The last day of the attorney’s birth month.
Compliance Year: Begins on the first day of the attorney’s birth month and ends on the last day of the month before the attorney’s birthday.
Carryover Credit: Attorneys may carry over up to 15 excess accredited CLE credits into the next reporting period.
Reporting: Lawline submits Texas attendance information weekly on Tuesdays after attorneys claim credit. Confirm that your bar number is correct and allow up to five business days for processing. Attorneys may self-report sooner using the course IDs on their certificates of completion.
